Dear Parent & Camper,
This summer I will not be
having the "usual" Prodigy Athletic Basketball Camp, but will be
having a
"3 day-week, 9-10 hour workout / field trip" leaving at 8:30 a.m. and
returning at approximately 7:00 p.m.
We will begin with a workout at a local gym, drive
to Manhattan Beach to Sand Dune Park or to the beach for a 45
minute sand workout. The workout will help with quickness,
conditioning, balance on the court and mental toughness.
After the sand workout we will take an hour break
to have lunch. (Bring a sack lunch or money to buy lunch). Our
last stop will be USC, UCLA, APU or Loyola Marymount to meet their
players, see the campus and possibly see them play in a "Pick-up"
basketball game.
The campers may also have the opportunity to play
in a organized "Pick-up" game at one of the Universities, or at a
facility near the campus.
Campers will feel the difference in
their game after a week session. After a month of sessions,
campers will be noticeably better in every physical aspect of the
game of basketball. These are the same workouts college and NBA
players do every off season.
